The Transaction Coordinator Academy, or TCA for short, is the place for professional training, resources, and support exclusively for transaction coordinators. With a wide variety of training options, individuals seeking to start a career as a professional transaction coordinator, deepen their skills, or even transform their career into a business will find the resources needed to accomplish their goals.

Instructor and Coach
Michelle began her career as a real estate paralegal in Central Florida in 1995, later becoming a real estate broker and eventually in 2005, opening Transaction Management Consultants, LLC where her and her team of transaction coordinators help agents in many states.
Over the years Michelle has been sought out for training and coaching to others wishing to start a career as a transaction coordinator or grow their existing coordinating business. The training, consulting, and coaching services offered at the Transaction Coordinator Academy stem from Michelle’s 24+ years of experience in the real estate industry coordinating transactions.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Michelle has lived in various places around Florida, Louisiana, and now lives with her family in the West Chicago Suburbs in Illinois. She is a proud mother of two grown boys and one daughter, and recently became a Grandmother, or “GG” as she is lovingly known to the Grand-Ginger Princess. When the work day is done, Michelle can often be found enjoying live music, reading a book, or indulging in ‘Taco Tuesday’ with friends and family.
In 2015, Michelle published her long-awaited book, The Road from Contract to Close: How to Successfully (and Easily) Manage the Details without Losing Your Mind – Or Your Clients! Currently she’s working on her 2nd book with an anticipated release in the spring of 2020.
Admin Assistant & Support
Diana helps put all of Michelle’s ideas into action and has been her assistant since joining the team in 2013. She also heads up the tech support here at the academy. She is a loving wife, and a mother of a lovely girl and adorable baby boy and resides in the Philippines.
Diana says that she loves the ability to work with people from around the world and be home with her children. Prior to joining our team she worked for Re/Max International and several other tech companies. We’re delighted to have her on our team.
Office Manager, Blog Writer, Expert Napper
Pia has been working with Michelle for many years as the unofficial Office Manager, a title she takes very seriously. She is a popular guest blogger to the Transaction Coordinator Academy site who shares her wisdom as only a zen cat can. When she’s not busy writing, she’s often found napping around the office or glaring at the Assistant Manager Hazel.

Assistant Manager, Office Joker
Hazel joined our team in November of 2018, she was rescued from the Anderson Animal Shelter. For the most part she’s the mischievous one who is knocking things off the desk, playing in the trash can or pouncing on our Office Manager Pia. Generally in the late afternoons she finds the spot in the sun near Michelle’s desk and takes a long nap.
